The DAUCO, certified as Maria de Maeztu Excellence Unit
The Department of Agronomy of the University of Cordoba (DAUCO) is added to the scientific excellence. DAUCO has recieved the distinction MarÃa de Maeztu in the last call (2019). The certification as MarÃa de Maeztu Excellence Unit is aimed to distinguish highly competitive organisations that boast ahead-of-the-curve research programmes that place them among the worldâs leading centres in their fields of expertise. The MarÃa de Maeztu Excellence Units are evaluated and chosen by an international scientific committee whose members are renowned experts.
DAUCO has been awarded as an example of collaboration and cooperation in the promotion of relations between the University and the Society within the Call for Prizes for Social Involvement with the Public Universities of Andalusia, the Forum of the Social Councils of the Public Universities of Andalusia in April 2008.
